Here is the line Anu opens with. Daml removes reentrancy, gas bugs, delegatecall. Genuinely safer than Solidity, and that is exactly why teams stop looking.

The bugs did not disappear. They moved somewhere quieter. Into authorization, into privacy, into what happens when your contract settles atomically against someone else's. And almost none of the tooling crypto built over the last decade was designed to see any of it.

Anu is a senior auditor on our team and does this every day, so he is bringing real examples rather than theory. Things caught before go-live that would have been genuinely expensive after.
